Is there a free trial?

No. Build-A-Brand does not offer a free trial. We are not a platform you just try. Build-A-Brand is here to provide you with the platform to build the foundation of your brand and business. We are committed to providing the technology to help you.

Does Build-A-Brand do all your marketing and SEO?

No. Build-A-Brand is not a marketing company. Build-A-Brand is a technology company that provides software for you to organically build your own business under the dealership umbrella. 

What happens if a salesperson leaves the dealership?

A) If the dealership has paid for the product the salesperson can not take this with them when they leave. The product and all the contacts belong to the dealership.

B) If a salesperson pays for this and they leave the dealership they will be able to take the product with them however, the only thing they will not be able to take with them are the contacts. The contacts stay at that dealership.

Will I be trained on how to use Build-A-Brand? 

Yes. You will have one-on-one training with our onboarding team once they get everything set up. You will also have access to our training portal 24/7. It is up to you to use the Build-A-Brand tools.

How can Build-A-Brand help salespeople?

As a salesperson, you were hired to do three things, get customers on the lot, sell cars, and retain your sold customers. Build-A-Brand will provide you with the technology that will make it easier for you to prospect, get and track referrals, and follow up with customers. Build-A-Brand gives you many systems built into one so you can save time and money.

How does the inventory work?

To display the dealership’s inventory on your website we will need your dealership’s permission to pull the VMS (Vehicle Management System) feed. The VMS feed is usually someone like vAuto or Homenet. The inventory is updated every morning at 2 am. We only display what your dealership is pushing to the VMS provider.

How long does it take to setup?

When onboarding the entire dealership, the setup will take 2 weeks. When onboarding an individual salesperson it takes 3-12 days to set everything up. Once you purchase, our onboarding team will reach out to you. You will be invited to our onboarding portal to see where we are at with building out your profile. Once our team has built out your profile you will be sent to our training portal. After you have completed our getting started section in the training portal we will set up one-on-one training via zoom. Once your inventory is setup we will inform you.

How do I get people to my website?

You can get people to your website by posting customer reviews, posting inventory, and posting blogs to social media from your Build-A-Brand admin toolkit. You can also send video messages to customers. Once the customers open the video message, it will put your customers on your website. You could also ask people to go to your website. You are solely responsible for getting people to your website.

How many leads does Build-A-Brand get me each month?

Build-A-Brand provides you all the tools to build your business and create your own leads. Build-A-Brand as a company does not provide you with leads. When you use our technology, it will make it easier for you to get and track your leads.

As an individual, do I need the dealership’s permission to use Build-A-Brand?

Yes. You will need the dealership’s permission to use our product.

Does Build-A-Brand post to social media for you?

Build-A-Brand does not post to social media for you. We do make it very easy to post to social media from our platform. We even provide pre-written blogs for your to post to your social media. You are solely responsible for posting your content from your website to your social media.

Can I cancel anytime?

If this is for the dealership, it depends on the commitment you signed. As an individual salesperson, when you sign up for Build-A-Brand you have two options, pay monthly or pay annually. It is a year commitment either way. If you picked the monthly option you will need to pay the balance left on the commitment you signed. If you picked the annual option and you want to cancel, you will still have access to the product until your year is up. Build-A-Brand does not offer refunds.
